| SUITABLE SURFACES: | New drywall, drywall previously painted with latex or oil based paint, plaster, blueboard, chalkboards, whiteboards, wood, veneer and laminates. |
| VENTILATION: | Ventilate area well. Switch HVAC system to 100% fresh air so odor will not be spread to other areas. Odor will dissipate within 24 hours. Avoid air flow that may contain dust or other contaminants over fresh coating. |
| PREP: | The IdeaPaint surface will only be as smooth as the surface it covers. Prep wall to a level 5 finish. |
| DRY TIME: | IdeaPaint will be dry to the touch within hours. Allow IdeaPaint to cure for 7 Days before use. |
| DE-INSTALLATION: | Like normal paint, IdeaPaint can simply be painted over with a fresh coat of IdeaPaint or any other paint.

Have you considered using a magnetic primer and latex chalkboard paint? It creates a black chalkboard looking surface with a bit of a texture feel once it has been put to use and erased and you can also post anything on the wall using magnets.
I know Home Depot carries it, but I'm sure you can find it elsewhere.
